Oil Pastel Pumpkins Art Class

Senior Services invites adults age 60 and older to explore the arts through classes being offered FREE OF CHARGE.

Pumpkins, in the Genus Cucurbita, are native to Mexico. They are one of the oldest cultivated plants, used as far back as 7000 BC! During harvest time, we are able to find a wide variety, not only for cooking but also for aesthetics. The colors and textures are simply mesmerizing! We will use observational drawing skills to create a beautiful oil pastel painting.
