Join Sawtooth on Thursday, June 13th, from 4 pm to 7 pm for their highly-anticipated annual Not Quite Perfect Pottery Sale–one of their largest fundraisers of the year! This time around, the event will be held at the brand-new Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness, home to the school’s new ceramics and mixed-media studios.
Shop hundreds of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pottery made by Sawtooth students, instructors, and staff who have donated their perfectly imperfect pieces. What makes them not quite perfect? Some are experiments, some didn’t turn out exactly how the artist intended, some may have minor flaws, and others were donated by potters for this fundraising sale. They are still safe, functional pieces of exceptional quality–just a little extra unique! Proceeds help support Sawtooth’s programming, fostering creativity and community.
This event is free and open to the public! Only credit card and debit payments will be accepted for pottery purchases. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags to carry their purchased items. The sale will be held in Generations Center’s Gallery Theater.
The Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness (114 W. 30th Street) has plentiful, accessible, and convenient parking, with entrances on Shorefair Drive and 30th Street. We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your support of Sawtooth, a non-profit community art school offering high-quality, hands-on classes for students of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds.
If you are interested in hosting an event at the Generations Center, please note that space reservations and event bookings are limited to the Generations Center’s 21 partners at this time. You may view our complete policy here.
