Palette Knife Painting – Landscapes in Oil

This 4 week class will give you a window into oil painting landscapes – from how to lay out the piece, what colors to use and how to create brushstrokes to align with the movement of the piece. Bring a few photos of  landscapes you enjoy or places you have been that are not too complex and we will create a piece using only a palette knife to give it an organic/expressive feel.  Basic supplies are included for use over the duration of the class. Students may wish to purchase additional paint if needed.  Ages 14 and up.
