Introduction to Knitting

In this introductory class, students will learn all the basics of knitting, including how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off. We will discuss types of yarns and needles, cultural histories of knitting, and communities of stitchers. This class is appropriate for complete beginners or those who have done a bit of knitting in the past and are looking for a refresher course.
