Art History Flavor: POP ART! Of Andy Warhol

In these 3 weeks we will learn a bit about Andy Warhol – his repetitive forms and use of contrasting colors. We will create a 4 block canvas piece using acrylic paint and a repeated item of your choosing as a graphic, playing with the placement of colors to get a desired look/feel. Artists should come prepared with photos of an item or 2 that they would like to draw inspiration from. ***A printed picture is required for this class!  Basic supplies are included for use over the duration of the class. Students may wish to purchase additional paint if needed.  Ages 14 and up.
