Senior Services invites adults age 60 and older to explore the arts through classes being offered at NO CHARGE.
This is a 6-week African Dance class taught by Tina Yarborough Liggins, assistant teaching professor in Wake Forest University’s Dance and Theater Department. It will focus on basic Western African dance movements and rhythms. Participants will explore a variety of African and Afrocentric movements through a progression of warm-ups, center work, and across the floor.
